York County House Members to Honor Vietnam Veterans

The York County delegation to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives is planning a ceremony honoring men and women in the county who served our country during the Vietnam War. The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Toyota Arena on the York Fairgrounds.

 

The York County Veterans Affairs Department, under the direction of Phil Palandro, is working with the legislators in helping to identify veterans to be honored. Department records show 84 men from York County lost their lives during the Vietnam War.

 

If a veteran of the Vietnam War or know someone (living or deceased) who is, please contact your state representative to submit the veteran’s name. You may also register a veteran through your respective representative’s website. Phone numbers and website addresses are as follows:
