Saylor, Gillespie to Host Senior Information Seminar
Note new location on Mount Rose Avenue

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Keith Gillespie (R-Hellam) and Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion) invite senior citizens, their families and caretakers from the 47th and 94th Legislative districts to their annual Senior Information Seminar, which will be held Friday, Oct. 21, from 8 -10 a.m., at The Links Center at Heritage Hills, 2700 Mt Rose Ave., York.

“This is a great opportunity for senior citizens to check out the services our offices can offer them, and get some vital information from informative speakers,” Gillespie said.

The meeting is free to attend and open to the public. Guest speakers at this year’s expo will include “Medical Emergencies - What Happens After I Make a 911 Call” by White Rose Ambulance, and “Medicare 101” by an Apprise Counselor with the York County Area Agency on Aging.

“With the wide variety of programs and services available to older Pennsylvanians, some may have questions about eligibility or how programs operate. This expo gives them a one-stop-shop to find out more about what’s available in our community and at the county, state and federal levels,” Saylor added.
