HARRISBURG – Rep. Stan Saylor (R-York) announced that Delta borough has been awarded a $325,000 Small Water and Sewer Program grant. This grant will be used to replace and redesign the borough’s storm water infrastructure.
“This funding will allow the borough to make much-needed repairs to its stormwater infrastructure,” Saylor said. “This is an important project which will help to reduce roadway flooding and ensure the proper flow of water through the stormwater system.
“I was proud to support this grant for Delta borough, and I continue to fight for funding for the people of the 94th Legislative District. My hope is this grant, combined with local funding, will help complete this critical project.”
The PA Small Water and Sewer Program was established by the General Assembly to award grants to municipalities and municipal authorities for water, sewer, stormwater and flood control projects with a cost of not less than $30,000 and not more than $500,000. The program is administered by the Commonwealth Financing Agency.
