Tom Wolf plans to veto a transparency bill that received unanimous support in the Legislature, continuing his attempts to quash the right of the public and press to question state government officials. Saylor Calls for Governor to Release COVID-19 Relief Funds to Lebanon County

“The governor has no legal authority to arbitrarily withhold funding from Lebanon County, which the General Assembly approved unanimously in both the House of Representatives and the Senate,” Saylor said. “The residents of Lebanon County, like the residents in all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties, have suffered a great deal due to the COVID-19 outbreak and Gov. Wolf’s arbitrary and capricious business shutdown orders.”

No Wells? No Worries! York County Continues to Benefit from Natural Gas

YORK – A former feed mill in York County, once used as a prop for Gov. Tom Wolf’s severance tax tour, is being torn down despite the absence of a severance tax on Pennsylvania’s natural gas consumers. To date, York County has received nearly $3.5 million dollars, including more than $378,000 it received today, in impact fees from taxes on unconventional gas wells in Pennsylvania despite there not being a well in the county.
