SBA and Treasury Announce PPP Re-Opening and New Guidance, Saylor Says

HARRISBURG – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in consultation with the Treasury Department, has announce that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will re-open the week of Jan. 11 for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers. To promote access to capital, initially only community financial institutions will be able to make First Draw PPP Loans on Monday, Jan. 11, and Second Draw PPP Loans on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania House of Representatives concluded the Fiscal Year 2020-21 budget process Friday with passage of a supplemental appropriation package that funds state government and related operations for the remaining seven months of the fiscal year.
