Saylor, Gillespie Announce Traffic Improvement Grants

Nov. 19, 2021 /

YORK- Reps. Stan Saylor (R-York) and Keith Gillespie (R-York) announced a $836,326 grant for Springettsbury Township in York County. The grant will support extending and connecting Davies Drive in Springettsbury Township, including an at-grade crossing over the railroad. The project is necessary following the removal of an old bridge that was used to cross the railroad and will provide improved north-south mobility in the area and reduce emergency services response time.

Saylor Announces Main Street Improvement Grant for Delta Borough

RED LION- Rep. Stan Saylor (R-York) announced a $787,429 grant for Delta Borough in York County. This grant will help Delta Borough revitalize and make streetscape improvements along Main Street from Chapel to College streets on the southside and Baptist and Dooley roads on the northside. The multimodal grant was made available as a result of funding provided for in Act 89 of 2013.

WHAT: The House Appropriations Committee will hold a joint public hearing with the House Education Committee on the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education’s (PASSHE) report pursuant to Act 50 of 2020 and the system’s implementation plan for improvement of operations.
